Take your fitness to the next level with virtual personal training this fall! The Student Recreation & Wellness Center (SRWC) has certified trainers eager and ready to help you reach your health and wellness goals.
“Virtual training is perfect for students who want to begin or continue their health journeys during a time where gym reopening is unknown,” said fourth-year kinesiology student and American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certified personal trainer, Victoria Munoz.
SRWC virtual trainers are available for one-on-one and buddy workout sessions. Trainers will work with you to make the experience stress-free, fun and accessible. Fitness equipment is not required but it is available for you to rent from the SRWC.
“Meeting virtually with a trainer is a great opportunity to focus on something positive,” said SRWC Fitness and Wellness Coordinator Cecilia Guerrero, another ACSM certified personal trainer. “The sessions provide a change of pace in this repetitive quarantine life we now face.”
Insider info from our SRWC trainers:
• “Virtual training can help reduce physical and mental stress. Now that school and work are all from home, these sessions provide your body a break from that same position that you have been sitting in all day.” -- Victoria Munoz
• “The biggest benefit is social connection and accountability. You can meet with someone ‘face-to-face,’ connect in real time and have them check in on your progress.” -- Cecilia Guerrero
Sessions are discounted for students and prices vary based on session package. To check out the trainers, prices, and sessions, go to asirecreation.org today!
