Each year thousands of students put in hard work at SRWC as a part of the Owen’s Condition for Tuition challenge—and as we approach the final laps of the semester, we get to celebrate those dedicated students at the finale!

The carnival themed Owen’s Condition for Tuition finale will take place on April 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the SRWC entry plaza. Bursting with interactive carnival booths, a DJ, photo booth, raffle prizes and free carnival-style food, this colossal celebration is ending the year the right way. In addition to celebrating all participants, all SRWC members who completed Owen’s Condition for Tuition can pick up a free ‘I completed’ T-Shirt during the event.

Last year’s Owen’s winner, third year biology major Leah Reyes, enjoyed having her tuition paid for. “I didn’t anticipate winning at all, but it was absolutely wonderful!” exclaimed Reyes. “Although I hit the 50 mark, I wasn’t going to go to the finale event—but my friends made me when I ran into them. When my name was called, I was totally surprised!”

“If you took the time to participate in Owen’s Condition for Tuition, even once, we want to celebrate you, your efforts and continued commitment to wellness,” said Kasey Schoen, the membership services and marketing coordinator for the SRWC. “So come out and let us celebrate you through a fun carnival filled with good food, exciting activities and great prizes!”
