Game of Thrones got it wrong -- summer is coming! To make sure you’re ready for the summer months ahead, the SRWC has two fun and educational pool-related programs just for you.
Free Play Fridays
Join us for Free Play Fridays every week at the Aquatics Center where we offer different aquatic programs and events to keep you cool.
This April, we rolled out our infamous key log competition where members tested their ability to stay balanced on the water for two minutes for the chance to win free SRWC swag. This event tackles balance and coordination -- how long can YOU roll with us?
Swim lessons
Swimming is not only a good ability to have in your day-to-day repertoire but it is also a life skill that is important to understand.
So why should you learn to swim? Swimming is one of the few exercises that gives you the benefits of cardio, strength training and stretching all at once. No matter your age, swimming is a great way to stay healthy and happy.
Here at the SRWC, our Aquatics Center staff is ready to answer your questions and sign you up for a safer summer. The SRWC Aquatics Center offers Friday group lessons to students starting at $70 for five sessions and private swim instruction, anytime, which provides a personalized training plan for only $35 per hour. There are also discounts if bought in a package and all members qualify for a free swim assessment to measure their ability.
So what are you waiting for? Sign up, today, for some summer swim fun!
